Will you be required to take classes for a first DWI conviction?

Posted on March 12th, 2010 No Comments

When individuals receive a DWI conviction for the first time, they often are required to take alcohol-related education classes.

These classes typically include at least 8 hours of class time, and the coursework usually must be completed within 6 months of the conviction. If the coursework is not completed, then the convicted individual’s drivers license may be suspended.

If you have been charged with a DWI, contact the Houston DWI defense attorneys of Johnson, Johnson & Baer, P.C., at 713-222-0400.
