The Mayor of Waxon Valley was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Harvey Road in College Station.
According to authorities, the mayor had blood shot eyes and had admitted to drinking alcohol. After posting bail in the morning, the mayor attended his first city council meeting.
The other members were not aware of the arrest in the early hours of that morning and many did not find out until Monday. The council members will allow the legal process to play out an will discuss the issue at the next meeting.
