A Houston man has been charged with his third DWI after being involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident.
The 73-year-old man was traveling on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard when he struck a woman around 10:30 p.m. He continued driving down the roadway but police officials witnessed the accident, pulled the man over and took him into custody.
The man has been charged with his third driving while intoxicated offense and causing an accident that involved death. The man was charged with a DWI in 1994 and again in 2000. He is currently being held in jail on a $60,000 bond.
