Houston police arrested a drunk driving suspect after they say he escaped from officers and ran into the woods.
According to officials with the Houston Police Department, the suspect was being treated fro injuries from an earlier accident Thursday at the Kingwood Medical Center. Police say he escaped from custody shortly after 10:00 p.m. Using a helicopter and K-9 search time, officers were able to locate the suspect in a nearby wooded area.
When officers found the suspect, they used a Taser to stop him and take him into custody. The man is facing charges of suspicion of driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest.
