Joe Giudice, husband of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice, was sentenced to spend 10 days in the Morris County jail after pleading guilty to driving with a suspended license following a DWI arrest.  Giudice began his sentence this past Monday.

Giudice was charged with driving while intoxicated after flipping his truck at 1:45 AM in January.  Giudice continues to assert that he had not been drinking before the accident and that police were able to detect alcohol in his system after the accident because he had some drinks at a family member’s house while waiting for police to arrive at the scene.

Giudice was convicted of driving while intoxicated in the Montville Municipal Court and given the maximum penalty for a first time DWI conviction.
