A Texas State Representative has announced his plan to introduce two pieces of legislature into the session that will increase punishment against people who are convicted of drunken driving.
The laws are named for a young child that suffered a brain injury after being involved in an accident with a drunk driver. The first piece of legislation will affect those who get into a drunken driving accident that causes a brain injury and the other has to do with people who have been convicted of drunken driving charges in other states. Both laws can not be submitted until the next legislative session begins in November.
