Police have arrested and charged a man with driving under the influence following an accident The Woodlands mall.
Witnesses say that the 22-year-old man turned left into the mall, running a red light at the intersection of Lake Woodlands and Pinecroft Drive, before crashing into another vehicle and then into the mall. Deputies arriving at the scene noticed the man appeared unsteady on his feet.
When asked for proof of insurance and his license, the man said he had lost his license for intoxicated driving.
He could not complete a number of field sobriety tests and was arrested, charged, and taken to Montgomery County Jail.
