Two people were arrested on charges of DWI in Houston Friday.
According to officials with the Houston Police Department, the first arrest occurred shortly after 3:00 p.m. Friday on the northwest side of the city. Authorities say 49 year-old Licking-resident Frank W. Davey was arrested on charges of DWI – chronic offender. Davey was also charged with driving while revoked. He was transported to the county jail.
The second arrest took place at approximately 5:00 p.m. in downtown Houston. According to the arrest report, 58 year-old Houston-resident Carol Y. Brim was charged with DWI – first offense. She was also charged with careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident. She was released to another party. The details of the accident have not been made public.
