Fatal DWI Houston construction accident

Intoxication manslaughter has been issued to a 34-year-old man who hit a construction worker while speeding down a highway.

Around 3:15 a.m. the driver of a silver Infiniti G35 was speeding through a construction zone when he steered towards the left and hit a construction worker. The worker died of his injuries. His identity has not been made public at this time.

The driver was pulled over by Houston Police and given field sobriety tests where it was confirmed that he was driving while intoxicated.
